DESCRIPTION:Each month Mammoth Lakes Tourism and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce partner to bring our local community updates on events\, programs and issues affecting Mammoth Lakes residents. \n\n\n\nOn Thursday\, August 27\, our guest speakers for Community Coffee will include:\n\n	Whitebark Institute on forest health and their current projects\n	Mammoth Lakes Fire Protection District on defensible space inspections and fuels reduction efforts.\n	CalFire will talk about the new Chinook helicopter based at Mammoth Yosemite Airport.\n\nWildfire mitigation and preparedness are always important topics in the Eastern Sierra. Spend the morning with us from 8:30 9:30am on Zoom to hear about the work and initiatives underway throughout the Mammoth Lakes community.\n\n\n\nThe Mammoth Lakes Chamber and Mammoth Lakes Tourism teams will also provide updates.\n\n\n\nOur featured coffee shop this month is All American Dave's inside Snowcreek Athletic Club.
