Community conversation\, local engagement brainstorming\, and creative solidarity will follow the viewing. \n\n\n\n"Without Water is a 20 minute short documentary showcasing the beauty of an overlooked Eastern Sierra staple that is at risk: Long Valley. The Keep Long Valley Green Coalition includes environmental organizations\, indigenous leaders\, ranchers\, business owners\, and concerned citizens working to prevent the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power from removing irrigation in Long Valley\, the area around Crowley Lake between the Sierra Nevada and Glass Mountain Ridge. Without Water documents what is at risk for this area and the community that lives in and around it\, hoping to educate and galvanize both locals and visitors alike to stand up for this ecosystem and their community members. The film is short but powerful\, conveying the message that everyone has a reason to Keep Long Valley Green."
