DESCRIPTION:Did you know that the Eastern Sierra is one of the most geologically active regions in the US? Join us this Summer on one of our FREE Geology Walks to hike into a young volcano and learn more about the wild forces that shaped the area.\n\nWhen: Friday\, July 18\, 9:00am   10:30pm\n\nWhere: Meet at the Panum Crater Trailhead kiosk\n\nWhat: Panum Crater trail is about 2 miles in length with some elevation gain.\n\nAll ages are welcome on all of our hikes\, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nWe recommend dressing in weather appropriate layers\, having sun protection such as hats and sunglasses\, wearing comfortable walking/hiking shoes\, and bringing a small pack with water and snacks.\n\n\nSpace is limited!
