DESCRIPTION:Our next Mammoth Lakes Restaurant Association Mixer is taking us to the Green Room at Mammoth High School on Wednesday\, September 9 from 3:30pm 5pm for a closer look at the school's growing Culinary Arts program.\n\n\n\nLocal restaurant owners and food and beverage professionals are invited to meet the students\, see what they have been working on and\, of course\, taste some of their culinary creations. It is also a chance for the students to meet local restaurant owners\, ask questions and make connections with businesses where they could one day work.\n\n\n\nThe Culinary Arts program continues to grow this school year with Culinary Arts 1 and 2 classes\, along with the development of internship and apprenticeship opportunities in the community. Students will continue creating and catering events at MUSD and will also launch the Leader of the Pack Caf  for staff and faculty.\n\n\n\nAnd what better way to see the program in action than to taste what the students have been creating?\n\n\n\nOn the Menu:\n\nCharcuterie Display\n\n  Cheese\, nuts\, fruit and bread\n\n\n\nHand-Passed Bites\n\n  Duck confit with blackberries and sage\n\n  Whipped avocado with watermelon and chilis\n\n  Ceviche with rosemary and garlic-infused avocado oil\n\n  MHS Culinary Arts' infamous chocolate chip cookies with a shot of milk\n\n\n\nMade-to-Order Mocktails\n\n  Crimson Pine Breeze: Ruby red grapefruit juice\, rosemary-infused simple syrup\, tonic and fresh rosemary\n\n  Musing Berry Mist: Muddled berries and sage\, lime juice and sparkling water\n\n  Sierra Ember: Watermelon and lime juice with sliced jalape o\, served in a Taj n-rimmed glass\n\n  Plus infused water\n\n\n\nCome see Mammoth High School's young culinarians in action\, meet the students and catch up with others from our local restaurant community.\n\n\n\nPlease register in advance so the Culinary Arts team knows how many guests to prepare for.\n\n\n\n  .
