The June Community Coffee will be held Thursday, June 29 from 8:30-9:30 am. This month we will hear from Tate Del Bosco with the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife. Tate will discuss black bear biology and monitoring in the Eastern Sierra, with a focus on preventing human-bear conflicts. Tate is the wildlife conflict biologist for Inyo and Mono counties. Originally from Northern Canada, he previously worked researching mountain lions, bighorn sheep, and mule deer across the West.
Additionally, we will have a presentation on the local Buoy Program set to kick off on June 24.
