Free Social Media Business Sessions

After February's super fun, and successful Power Lunch "Social Media that Sells" we are pleased to bring you more "hands-on" interactive social media sessions for CHAMBER MEMBER businesses.

Joseph Bogorad has teamed up with the Chamber to bring you these FREE lessons for Chamber Members only.

If you want to start or continue building your social media business momentum, then these sessions are for you.

The SECOND session is Wednesday April 23, 2025 from 5:50pm-6:30pm.

Joseph will be conducting, initially, two sessions to help you create content, even if you have no idea where to start. He will cover:

Introduction to Content Creation

• What challenges/struggles are you facing when it comes to social media? (i.e. I have no time, I'm too old, I'm not good on camera, etc. are all common limiting beliefs)
• How to Win on social media
• Leveraging social media to increase sales
• Social media to help with seasonality
• Generate leads through social media
• Build a bio together for your social media page(s)
• Maximize time spent working on social media (better to create, rather than consume)
• Hands-on learning
• Mindset? positive, get ready to be judged online, judging yourself
• Everyone does things differently
• Introduction to CapCut (make sure you download the app).

Homework:
Get a lot of b-roll*

*B-roll or b-reel is additional footage that is used in video reels to complement the main footage. Examples are plates of food, the bar, street shots, close-up of objects, making coffee, a commute, scenery, the sky (a sunset or sunrise), opening the door to your business, something funny etc. Practically anything behind the scenes of your business can be b-roll and the list is endless.

Think you don't need it?
Social media is one of the first places where people look to find something they want. Chances are people will buy from a business with a strong social media presence vs. a business without one. According to Nieman Journalism Lab, "Almost 40% of Gen Z use TikTok and Instagram for search instead of Google."
