Unapologetically raw and sung straight from the heart, the Hood River-based Kyle J. Glenn’s music juxtaposes inner monologues with triumphant declarations. Bittersweet chords collide against hope-tinged lyrics, taking listeners on a captivating sonic journey that ebbs and flows between tension and resolution. With a wide-range of influences, today he cites Gillian Welch, John Prine and The Mountain Goats as a few notable musicians that have helped him forge his own sound and identity as an artist. He released his debut solo EP ‘As You Write this the Whistle Blows’ back in 2020, toured across the United States, and is now gearing up for the launch of his debut full-length, ‘Geographies.’
