The purpose of January's activity is to enhance social awareness and self-awareness in order to foster appreciation, increase focus, and enhance mind-body connection. After a short meditation focused on compassion, we will engage in a writing exercises to practice compassion in real time. We will complete our practice with a loving kindness meditation to expand our compassionate energy beyond ourselves and into our community. This activity is perfect for individuals seeking to let go of lingering obstacles or issues limiting their perspective of openness or kindness.
