Job Summary
- We have an immediate opening for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter. In this role, you will work on both residential and commercial projects. Your job duties include reading blueprints to understand the project’s specifications, creating wood fixtures, installing windows and door frames, and repairing wood structures.
- We expect candidates to be proficient with industry hand and power tools and familiar with governmental safety regulations. You must have at least five years of carpentry experience and be willing to work some weekends.
- Journeyman Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities
- Review blueprints to understand the scope of the project
- Fabricate and cut wood components and framework
- Install windows and door frames
- Repair wood structures
- Perform trim and finishing work
- Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment properly
Journeyman Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational carpentry program or apprenticeship
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient with industry hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Pay: $30/hr-$45/hr
Full-time vs. Part-time: Full-time
