Annual 4th of July Parade
Everyone is invited to watch the 4th of July Parade through town on Tuesday, July 4. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and ends around 1 p.m. The route will be the same as last year — from Old Mammoth Road to Main Street. Participants are allowed to give out candy but it cannot be thrown to spectators. Wear your best patriotic outfits and bring your camp chairs to enjoy the parade of floats through town. Attendance is free for all.
Please keep your children from entering the parade route, as this is a very dangerous situation. This year we will have barricades on Old Mammoth Road and Main Street. Spectators are not allowed to throw anything (including water balloons) into the parade route.
Spectators are encouraged to walk, bike or use public transportation to get to the parade, as Old Mammoth Road and Main Street will be closed during the parade. If arriving early, spectators can park at the park and ride lot off of Old Mammoth Road.
