Community Coffee: Winter Weather Outlook

Each month Mammoth Lakes Tourism and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce partner to bring our local community updates on issues, events and programs affecting Mammoth Lakes residents.

Joining us for October's Community Coffee on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 8:30am on Zoom will be Dawn Johnson, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the NOAA/National Weather Service Reno office. She will provide a winter weather outlook including what we might expect from this winter’s “Super” El Niño. You won’t want to miss it!

As always with our Community Coffee, we encourage listeners to pop their questions into the chat. The Mammoth Lakes Chamber and Mammoth Lakes Tourism teams will also provide updates.

Our featured coffee shop this month is Café Crêpe. We continue to use the Mobilozophy platform to provide a mobile coupon that only listeners may redeem for a free coffee or tea drink.

Stay till the end of the Community Coffee webinar for a trivia question and your chance to win a $50 Yiftee gift card from Mammoth Lakes Tourism!
