Eastern Sierra Land Trust Mule Deer Migration Corridor Field Trip

Mule deer, or muleys, are an iconic species in the Western US. Perhaps you have seen them take bounding, stiff-legged hops through the sagebrush, or noticed their large, mule-like ears. ESLT’s Mule Deer Migration Corridor Field Trip was postponed due to weather, so you haven’t missed it! RSVP for the new date! This free, family-friendly event will be held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, March 26. Human-Wildlife Conflict Scientist Dan Taylor, from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, will lead us on an educational tour of the Round Valley mule deer herd’s winter range. CalTrans Senior Biologist Katie Rodriguez and Mono County Supervisor Stacy Corless will also be in attendance. Katie and Stacy are key to the Mammoth Lakes 395 Wildlife Crossing Project, and will share updates with us on the project. Please visit www.eslt.org/events for more details. Space is limited so please RSVP to Claire at claire@eslt.org.
