Eastern Sierra Transit Authority with offices in Bishop and Mammoth Lakes, California is recruiting for an Executive Director. ESTA is a Joint Powers Authority comprised of Inyo County, Mono County, the City of Bishop and the Town of Mammoth Lakes serving a 400 linear mile area extending from Lancaster, California to Reno, Nevada. ESTA operates fixed route, on-demand and multiple town-town routes, 7 days a week. The operation consists of approximately 75 employees with a fleet of 70 vehicles.
Working under the general direction of the board of directors, the Executive Director organizes, controls and directs all activities of the Eastern Sierra Transit Authority, carrying out the goals and policies of the ESTA Board.
