Details for Baker position:

· $21.50-$22 / Hour

· Typical Shift Hours: 4am-1pm (Including weekend and holiday shifts)

· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

· Fast Start Date

Job Duties for Baker:

· Assist Senior Baker with daily production of baked goods

· Work as part of the back-of-house team to support quality and efficiency

· Follow all safety, health, and sanitation policies and procedures

· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment

· Uphold company production standards for quality, quantity, and efficiency

· Ensure consistency and quality of products prepared

· Protect recipes, formulas, and procedures

· Use downtime to restock, clean, and organize work areas

· Adhere to company policies on conduct, appearance, and guest relations

· Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, proofers, and boilers

· Follow baking schedules and coordinate with team members

· Receive, label, rotate, and store food deliveries at proper temperatures

· Report equipment or quality issues to management or senior baker

· Maintain and operate all equipment according to company and manufacturer instructions

· Read and understand order tickets, memos, and instructions

· Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Baker:

· High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of previous experience

· Must obtain California Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days from hire date

· Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills

· Reliable, flexible, and able to work early mornings in varied conditions

· Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work quickly and safely

· Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently or with a team

· Passionate about food and comfortable interacting with customers and coworkers

· Ability to stand for duration of shift

· Ability to lift up to 30+ lbs

· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
