Ridge Merino Retail Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the Ridge Collective retail store located in Mammoth Lakes, CA
• Manage all retail store organization, merchandising and purchasing
• Process payments with the point of sale (POS) system
• Research latest advancements to improve customer experience and staff workflow
• Manage retail/merchandising budget and all supplier relationships
• Merchandise and restock store inventory
• Update displays regularly and improve/maintain the customer experience in the showroom
• Perform opening/closing tasks
• Manage Retail Associates and scheduling
• Ensure welcoming and excellent experience for customers in store
• Provide customers with thoughtful insight to the Ridge product line
• Support Ridge’s e-commerce business by providing customer service online and by phone, working with third-party logistic warehouse on inventory management, and assisting with online returns and warranties
• Assist marketing team with retail promotions, sales and events
• Assist with processing/packaging physical return product

What We’re Looking For

• Highly organized, outgoing, friendly individual with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow direction and take initiative as each situation requires
• Attention to detail and a creative eye for visual merchandising
• Interest in outdoor gear and/or apparel
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Mammoth Lakes, CA area
• Must be comfortable working within Google App Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
• Experience with Shopify platform is a plus
• Retail buyer or management experience preferred
• Ability to work 4-5 days a week, including weekends and some holidays
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
