Sales Associate
Location: Mammoth Lakes, CA
Compensation: $20–$25/hour + % of territory sales. Anticipated first-year compensation at $55k-$70k, or more!
Type: Full-Time (40 hours), M-F

Position Summary
As a Sales Associate, you will be a key part of our team, helping expand market presence, managing accounts, and driving sales growth. You’ll represent leading brands, build lasting customer relationships, and ensure products are strategically positioned to succeed.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Visit assigned accounts to maintain relationships, analyze sales opportunities, and identify growth areas.
  • Sales & Presentation: Deliver professional sales presentations, focusing on new product placement, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
  • Inventory & Order Management: Take inventory, process customer orders, and monitor product freshness.
  • Market Analysis: Gather customer insights and stay informed on market trends to guide business decisions.
  • Merchandising Support: Rotate and stock products at retail locations and create eye-catching displays.
  • Events & Promotion: Represent Catalina Beverage at events, tastings, and community gatherings.
  • Travel: Attend supplier meetings around the United States or sales trainings as necessary.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in beverage or consumer goods.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance meeting state requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring repetitive movements like bending, lifting, and pulling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld order devices.
